Terms of Service

You must be at least 16 years old to use Glowbit. If you use it on behalf of a company or organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it, and "you" means that organisation.

Keep your password and API keys confidential — anything done through your account is treated as done by you. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you believe someone else has access.

Give us accurate account information and keep your email address current; it is how we reach you about security and billing.

Glowbit turns browsers and TVs into LED-style signs. You design displays, group screens into walls, draw canvases, schedule playlists, pair screens with a code, publish public share links, and push live data through our API.

We improve and change the product over time. If we remove a feature you depend on, or change one materially to your disadvantage, we will give you reasonable notice.

Glowbit has a free plan with published limits and a paid Pro plan. Prices are shown on our pricing page and may change; changes never apply to a period you have already paid for.

Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel.

Cancellation. You can cancel at any time. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, then drops to the free plan. Content over the free limits is not deleted — it stops being served until you are back within the limits or subscribe again.

Refunds. We handle refund requests case by case. Write to [email protected] explaining the situation and we will look at it in good faith. If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, your statutory withdrawal rights apply on top of this and are not affected by it.

Do not use Glowbit to:

• Publish content that is unlawful, defamatory, hateful, or that harasses or threatens anyone.
• Display sexual content involving minors, or any material that exploits or endangers children.
• Infringe someone else’s copyright, trademark or other rights.
• Impersonate a person or organisation, or misrepresent your affiliation with one.
• Send spam, run phishing, or distribute malware.
• Pair or control a screen you do not own or have permission to use.
• Probe, scrape, overload or attempt to break the service, or work around plan limits and rate limits.
• Resell or white-label the service without our written agreement.

We may suspend or remove content and accounts that break these rules. Where the situation allows, we will tell you why first.

You own your content. Text, artwork, layouts and data you put into Glowbit stay yours. We claim no ownership over them.

You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce and display that content — only as far as it takes to operate the service for you: rendering it, sending it to your screens, generating thumbnails, and serving your share links. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies that remain in routine backups until they expire.

You are responsible for having the rights to what you publish, including fonts, images and trademarks that appear on your signs.

A share link is public by design. Anyone with the link can view that display, without signing in, and search engines or anyone the link is forwarded to may reach it. Do not put confidential information on a shared display. You can revoke a share link at any time from the product.

We work to keep Glowbit running, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. There is no service level agreement on the free plan. We may take the service down for maintenance, and we will try to do it at quiet times.

Glowbit is not built for use where failure could cause injury, death, or serious damage — emergency signage, medical, aviation or industrial safety systems. Do not rely on it for those.

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms, creates a legal or security risk, or fails to pay.

On termination your right to use the service ends and we delete your content according to our Privacy Policy. If we terminate without cause, we refund the unused part of a paid period.

The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — lost profits, lost business, or lost data — and our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to what you paid us in that period.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including for fraud, gross negligence, death or personal injury. If you are a consumer, your mandatory statutory rights are unaffected.

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. For material changes we will notify you by email or in the product before they take effect; continuing to use Glowbit afterwards means you accept them.

These terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, and the courts of İstanbul have jurisdiction over disputes arising from them.

If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, this does not take away the protection of your local mandatory consumer law, and you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your own country of residence.
